What's the deal with this Daily Tailgate thing?
If you're like us, you've probably wondered why it is that in the ocean of sports news out there you can't get a single, daily sports email that allows you to customize the news about your favorite teams and keep you in touch with other select, funny and intriguing stories and videos that will give you something cool to talk about beyond the same old obvious stuff. We started Daily Tailgate so that each morning we can hit you with a quick shot of sports and sports culture that will keep you informed, educate you, surprise you and make you laugh.

You get a single, quick, daily email about what's going on in the world of sports and sports culture, as determined by our crackpot team of sports enthusiasts. We wouldn't want it any other way. In addition, we'll deliver your favorite team's news and scores each day.
Can businesses pay to have a writeup feature them?
Absolutely not. We value editorial integrity and do not allow for that sort of dirty play.
How do you guys stay in business?
A few ways, but primarily by selling advertising. The banner and skyscraper surrounding each days mailer are paid for, as are occasional dedicated emails.

Our writers slave away all day at their desks and would love to hear from you with some cool or funny stuff. Send it to us here.
How do you choose what to write?
We scour the net and talk to everyone to gather as much sports and sports culture information as possible. We then filter that down and fit it within our content modules to create the beauty you see each and every day.

Many email service providers automatically block images. Look to unblock images in your email account preferences or settings. For directions on unblocking images by email provider, check out the Email Help section for more information.
Can I change the email address my Daily Tailgate subscription goes to?
Not yet. Right now, each subscription is defined by the member's email address. To get Daily Tailgate at a different address, unsubscribe the old address then rejoin with the new one.

That's a good one, chief. Unfortunately paid-editorial is not in our best interest and we feel it would ruin the quality of our site and mailer. Our editorial features are selected for their own merit, nothing else. While you are certainly eligible to get a write up, don't count on us giving you anything on that front in exchange for advertising dollars.
